Ghana

Amelot Holdings has come to an initial agreement with a Ghana-based consulting company for the development of a Jatropha plantation. The Group is in the process of negotiating a 49-year lease with the land owners, organizing local licenses, and providing initial logistics for the project.

The consulting firm will be responsible to ensure Amelot has all of the appropriate permits to form a company and then conduct Jatropha cultivation inside the sovereign country of Ghana.

Ghana is considered a prime growing location for Jatropha and has access to sea shipping that will allow inexpensive transport of Amelot Jatropha oil around the world.

Barbados

Amelot Oil Barbados Ltd. is now an officially registered business in Barbados. The company is the offspring of Native Sun, the brainchild of Barbadian entrepreneur Handel Callender which produces biodiesel from used cooking oil collected from concerned Barbadian residents and from Hotels , Restaurants and other food outlets.
